All Levels Yoga
Time: Every Sunday, 10 – 11:30 am
Sunday morning is a lovely time at the studio. Come together with a small group for a varied and personal exploration of yoga’s many facets. Expect to be coaxed, supported, engaged and challenged. Each week is different, but the constant is the attention to detail and the attention to YOU. This class can help you build a foundation of practice or deepen the knowledge you already have. All levels are welcome.

On the second Friday of the month (except January – that will be on the 3rd Friday!), I will be offering master classes that are of value to yoga teachers, yogis and ordinary humans. Everyone is welcome.
Focused Fridays Winter/Spring Schedule
Friday, Jan 19, 9:30 – 11 am
Standing Poses strengthen and steady our legs while keeping them flexible and agile. The power of these beautiful poses can help us find more ease in city walking and subway standing.
Friday, Feb 9, 9:30 – 11 am
Rather than wait for the perfect workout opportunity (which never seems to come) standing well is an opportunity to lengthen your spine and engage your core with a balance of effort and ease. Your discs and organs will appreciate it. You will look better and good posture can even elevate your mood.
Friday, Mar 9, 9:30 – 11 am
March Mini Vacation
You’ll move, you’ll stretch and then using meditation and mudra find your own inner sanctuary of tranquility in Restorative Poses. Relish some precious moments of contentment.
Friday, April 13, 9:30 – 11 am
Using a variety of therapeutic balls, you’ll find, release, and massage your tight spots. With an awakened sense of freedom, you’ll be nourished by both movement and relaxation.
Friday, May 11, 9:30 – 11 am
The 5 subtle inner winds of yoga help us to cultivate particular energy directions in the body. Learn about these winds through simple movements then find how these directions give our body/mind super support in many different poses.
Friday, June 8, 9:30 – 11 am
Drop The Bag
We leave home in the morning carrying all sorts of things in our bag. By the end of the day, we’ve picked up extra stuff and we’re even more loaded down. There’s a moment of relief when we walk back in the door and drop the bag. It feels so good to let go of all the added weight that we’ve been carting around. Movement is easier without extra tension and pressure. Practices of release will help you move like a feather.
